Hotspots (the CLI tool) collects no telemetry and requires no account. It runs entirely on your machine.

This website (hotspots.dev) does not use analytics or tracking cookies in its current form.

If you join a waitlist (including the API waitlist), I store your email and anything you add (such as repositories of interest or how you'd use the product) to notify you about launches and to decide what to build. I don't share it with third parties.

API requests are logged (endpoint, query parameters, country, user agent, and hashed identifiers for the client IP and API key) to monitor usage and abuse.
